Job Description Mint Home Care Providers is a highly respected, in-home care agency, serving Northern VA.We are urgently seeking a caring, energetic and compassionate individual for an immediate weekend opening in Leesburg, VA, providing exceptional Personal Care and Companion Care. If you meet the following requirements, please respond at your earliest..· Reliable, Patient, Punctual and Honest· Manage well in English· Own reliable transportation · Flexible with a positive 'can do' attitude· Able to recognize changes in their clients and alert proper personnel when necessaryMajor Responsibilities:· Activities of daily living (ADL) in a safe and beneficial manner· Meal prep and light housekeeping· Errands, transportation and companionshipKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:· Must meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency's minimum standards· Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client· Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as honoring agency policies· Must have experience managing people with Parkinson's and/or serious health issues but caregivers do not administer medication or perform any procedures requiring the knowledge or skills of a licensed nurse or registered therapist· Must pass all background checks and drug screening with satisfactory results.· Effective communication skills preferred.License/Certification:· CNA (preferred)Schedule:· Multiple days a weekBenefits:· Frequent pay schedules.
