PCL Engineer/Embedded Engineer

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. Experience with PCL is mandatory., These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience. Required Skills: (Candidate should have hands on experience in several areas listed below) PCL skils Java/J2EE 5+ development using IBM Stack - WebSphere, WebSphere MQ, Operational Data Model (ODM) Java Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Struts JDBC, Oracle 11g+, MS SQL Server 2008+ Experience working with IBM Websphere MQ 6+, Queues, Topics, Channels, Publish/Subscribe, Apache Tomcat UML for creating Sequence Diagrams, Deployment Diagrams, Activity Diagrams etc… Develop Soap and RESTful webservices using JAXWS, JAXRS and Spring Develop Message Oriented applications using Spring JMS, Websphere MQ Develop backend processing jobs using Spring Frontend Web Application development using HTML, JavaScript, AJAX , JSP, Struts, JSF, HTML 5/CSS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with distributed team including offshore Familiar with Proficient in using Agile Methodologies and Rally software Knowledge of full software development life cycle, including writing stories, low level documentation, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing.
