Setup TechnicianPosition Summary: Responsible for setting up, changing over, troubleshooting and documenting process problems associated with plastic injection molding.Position Responsibilities:Sets and/or pulls out molds from pressesWorks in a safe manner and monitors safety of equipment and work areaTroubleshoots machines and process issuesCommunicates issues to Lead Process Technician, Production Supervisor or Process Engineer, Toolroom, etc.Communicates effectively within shift and with other shiftsChanges nozzles, nozzle tips, nozzle heater bands, etc. as neededMaintains housekeeping and 5S StandardsCleans and sets up auxiliary equipmentResponsible for daily PM'sQualifications:Education: High school diploma or GED preferredMust have a minimum of three years of related experience in injection moldingMust have mechanical skills/aptitude (as determined by testing)Must be able to lift 50 pounds, reach above shoulders for periods of timesMust be able to stand, walk, life, squat, bend, push, pull, grasp, twist, lift, and climb stepsSalary: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is: starting at $19.00/hour plus any applicable shift differential.Aptar also offers a variety of benefits, including health, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) match and employer retirement savings contribution, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, company-paid holidays, and more.
