Job Role: API Developer – Apigee Hybrid Migration100% Remote Contract Role Job Details:We are seeking a hands-on API Developer to join our core project team in a staff augmentation capacity. The primary focus of this role is to execute technical migration tasks, write automation scripts, and rebuild legacy integrations. You will work closely with our internal API team, relying on our lead architects for high-level guidance while you focus strictly on hands-on-keyboard execution.Primary Responsibilities:Axway to Apigee Migrations: Rebuild and migrate a large volume of existing legacy Axway API integrations into the new Apigee environment.CI/CD Automation: Develop and implement CI/CD automation scripts to support pipeline deployments and future platform upgrades (e.g., automating the upgrade process from Apigee 1.16 to 1.17).Apigee Proxy Migrations: Assist with migrating existing Apigee Private Cloud (OPDK) proxies, team apps, and developer apps over to the new Apigee Hybrid infrastructure.Must-Have Skills:Strong hands-on experience in API development and integration rebuilding.Proven expertise in building CI/CD pipelines and writing automation/pipeline scripts.Ability to work independently on development tasks while taking architectural direction from internal technical leads.Apigee / Axway ExperiencePrior experience specifically migrating from Apigee Edge / Private Cloud to Apigee Hybrid AND/ORFamiliarity with the Axway API platform to aid in translating legacy integrations into Apigee.“Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
