Program Management Director, Latches
DescriptionLead a team of Program Managers to support all Latch programs, in all plants, globally. This job entails ensuring all projects are on target for Flawless launches, escalating issues as required. Ensure Latch best practices are being used and transferred between regions. Coach and mentor Program Managers in their planning, structuring, leading and executing of all projects to ensure they launch successfully, on time, in budget, and meet all quality requirements. Escalate issues as necessary to resolve project issues quickly and efficiently. Drive the discipline and collaboration required for success.Provides team leadership, management support, including coaching and active engagement with direct and extended team.Develops and implements program management processes and policies based on program needs.Directs the efforts of product steering committees, ensuring adherence to the product development process for all program and project managers.Manages escalation path to the executive leadership on critical programs and provides support (Technical and Leadership) to the project team(s).Be aware of the big picture (Technical, Product Space, Financial, Organizational, etc.) and proactively support it.Facilities executive-level interaction with Customer and serves as an escalation-tiered company representative of internal and customer issues.Works with internal and external resources to maintain strong customer relationships with dedication to customer program schedules.Reports on group KPI’s to senior management and the broader organization.Prepares departmental/project budgets and put effective controls in place to manage spending within the budget.Develops long-term organizational strategies/plans to meet future business needs and growth opportunities.Constantly seeks methods to improve program management efficiency and effectiveness.Ensures that programs are properly resourced (both quality and quantity) for success, whether through assignment of direct resources, or leverage of external resources as required.Supports reviews as required.Ensures that teams are aware of and using the appropriate tools and processes.Participates in continuous improvement efforts for products, tools, processes and programs.Responsible for the adherence of all processes, tools and methods of the program management team to all applicable standards, laws, rules and regulations.Support quote activities as required, especially in terms of developing project timing and organizing cross-functional industrialization reviews with the customerReq Number SAL-24-00006Position RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience working with Latch Products using leading methodologies and processes; 10+ years of Program Management experience required.Travel is required up to 25% both domestically and internationally to support the business, although this is an estimation and may increase or decrease depending on the needs of the business.Understand Cultural diversity of the different regions. Excellent communication Skills.Experience managing multiple internal and external teams and resources including Senior Project Managers and third party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative product solutions.Ability to manage and lead large teams (20-40 persons) across multiple functions and locations.Understanding of budgetary control and resource allocation procedures.Ability to exercise coaching skills to ensure Project Managers are properly managing the customer, motivating the internal team, and supporting them to resolve conflicts in a win/win fashion.Advanced management skills, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, and project management.Advanced verbal communication skills, including group presentations.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, customers, and employees.Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documents.Excellent customer relationship skills, ability to work with multiple OEM's.Demonstrated experience in managing small & large projects with staged gates.Formal training in program management (preferred).Demonstrated experience managing and training people on a global scale.About the Organization Inteva Products is a leading global automotive supplier providing innovative, reliable, environmentally friendly products that enhance vehicle quality, safety and performance.
