The team spans originators, credit analysts, operations, documentation, accounting, and portfolio management professionals, supporting a full‑cycle commercial finance platform.This role functions as a transaction‑focused paralegal within the Equipment Finance platform, with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and coordinating legal documentation required to close equipment finance transactions. The position ensures all documentation accurately reflects approved credit terms, supports lien perfection, and enables timely closing and funding. The role partners closely with the investment team and external legal counsel throughout the transaction lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, draft, and coordinate equipment finance legal documentation—including loan agreements, leases, security agreements, guarantees, assignments, and ancillary closing documents—in partnership with external counsel.Support both direct originations and a high volume of syndicated/indirect transactions.Partner with origination teams, credit, clients, and internal/external legal counsel to interpret approved deal terms, collect required information, and resolve documentation and closing issues.Ensure all documentation accurately reflects credit approvals, internal policies, and client requirements prior to execution.Manage documentation workflows, track execution status, and coordinate closing timelines to support timely funding.Maintain accurate and complete transaction files in accordance with company standards.Provide documentation and legal file support for audits, compliance reviews, and internal or post‑closing inquiries.Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders regarding documentation needs, revisions, and approvals.Requirements3-5+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal documentation, or commercial lending documentation role.
