Sr DevOps/Platform Engineer

*Sr DevOps/Platform Engineer | Direct Hire | $130K–$160K + Bonus | St. Louis / Remote* We are seeking a hands-on *Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer* to support enterprise cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation. *Location:* St. Louis, MO strongly preferred. 100% remote candidates considered if available during Central Time core business hours. Local candidates receive priority. *Salary:* $130,010–$160,600 annually + bonus opportunity. *Employment:* Direct Hire | Full-Time | W2 Only *Key Responsibilities*

• Own and support cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized applications.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot cloud networking, VPCs, firewalls, ports, and load balancers.
• Support application builds, deployments, and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, QA, and release teams.
• Improve platform automation, reliability, security, and operational performance.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every six weeks.

*Required Qualifications*

• 3–5+ years of hands-on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience.
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience.
• GCP/GKE preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable with strong Kubernetes skills.
• Hands-on Terraform and GitLab CI/CD experience.
• Strong cloud networking and infrastructure troubleshooting capabilities.
• Scripting experience with Ruby, Python, or Groovy.
• Experience with Linux/Unix, Docker, and Git-based source control.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.

*Preferred Qualifications*

• Java/Node.js builds and Maven integration.
• Artifactory, Chef, VMware, or configuration management tools.
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or similar monitoring tools.
• DevSecOps and enterprise production platform support.
