Regional Sales Director
Radiology Ltd., a Tucson Arizona based medical imaging company with over 500 employees is seeking a new Director of Regional Sales Director to join our Leadership Team. The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading and executing regional sales strategy to drive referral volume growth and market expansion for Lumexa Imaging Centers. This role provides leadership, coaching, and development for a team of Diagnostic Imaging Specialists while maintaining direct engagement with key referral partners and stakeholders. The Regional Sales Director collaborates closely with the region's VP, Sales, as well as Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, to translate corporate objectives into actionable regional business plans. Success in this role requires strong healthcare sales leadership experience, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to motivate teams while operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Duties/Responsibilities:Lead short-term and long-range regional sales and business planning initiatives Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing Diagnostic Imaging Sales Specialists Coach, develop, and manage sales team performance through field visits, goal setting, and accountability Leverage CRM systems and business intelligence tools to inform targeting, resource allocation, and performance optimization Conduct regular field visits to support sales execution, customer engagement, and coaching Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, attorneys, and healthcare partners Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to execute Lumexa sales and growth strategies Review and manage monthly territory expense reports and promotional budgets Lead annual budget planning and forecasting activities for the region Ensure all sales activities comply with corporate compliance, regulatory, and ethical standardsCompletes other tasks and projects as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of healthcare sales environments, preferably diagnostic imaging or referral-based healthcare services Knowledge of and adherence to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality protocols Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the handling of sensitive informationKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and calendar management systems such as OutlookKnowledge of sales performance metrics, forecasting, and territory management strategiesKnowledge of CRM systems and business intelligence tools used to analyze sales performance and market trends Skill in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams Skill in strategic planning, execution, and performance managementSkill in building and maintain strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholdersSkill in analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and risksSkill in communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadershipSkill in managing budgets, expenses, and promotional resourcesAbility to motivate teams through goal setting, accountability, and recognitionAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous environmentAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on field engagementAbility to influence outcomes within a matrixed organizational structureAbility to prioritize competing demands while meeting deadlines and performance expectationsAbility to maintain consistent attendance, reliability, and punctualityAbility to remain calm, resourceful, and composed in high-pressure or challenging situationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree required; advanced level degree or related certifications preferred Minimum of 5 years of direct outside sales experience in a healthcare-related fieldMinimum of 3 years of sales leadership or team management experienceExperience leading geographically dispersed sales teams preferred Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting: up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbsMust be able to sit, stand, stoop and reach as needed during normal job duties and while visiting referral partners and healthcare facilitiesAbility to drive for extended periods of time while traveling throughout the assigned territoryRequires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones, and copiersRequires computer-related activities for extended periodsRequires the ability to see, hear, speak, write, and keyTravel Required:Up to 100% local travel within the greater Tucson area to conduct in-person sales calls and relationship-building activitiesOccasional travel throughout Southern ArizonaOccasional out-of-state travel for company meetings, conferences, or training sessions We offer a competitive salary, full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurances, 401(k), paid time off, short- & long-term disability, telemed services as well as other work site benefits!
