Radiology Technologist

Title: Radiology Technologist Location: Saint Joseph, MI Duration: 13 weeks contract (Possibilities of Extension) Schedule Notes: Nights 22:30 – 07:00 (5*8)hours shift. 40 hours/weekly. **Non-Taxable Stipend is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility** Duties: Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care of all equipment. Produces diagnostic radiographic examinations by positioning patients, providing immobilization devices, and selecting proper technical factors based on individual patient needs. Restricts radiation beam through cone and collimating devices to prevent exposure to unaffected body parts. Performs portable x-ray examinations in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency rooms. Identifies patient films correctly with name, x-ray number, and side markers. Develops exposed x-ray films using available processing methods. Completes patient requisitions with required documentation. Required Education: Associates degree or graduate of Accredited Radiography School Bachelors – preferred. Requirements: ARRT(R) BLS - AHA
