Director Of Residential ServicesPalm Shores Behavioral Health Center is a 65-bed residential treatment facility that provides treatment to adolescent boys and girls, ages 11 17. Treatment includes behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric interventions as well as education. Our treatment philosophy is based on trauma-informed care principles and offers distinct progressive phases of care. Located in Manatee County, Southwest Florida offers a diverse mix of lifestyle options. While most people think of our sandy beaches, waterfront views, and golf courses, this area on Florida's Gulf Coast is also rich in lifestyle diversity. From walkable downtowns to communities with art and cultural influences and equestrian ranches, Southwest Florida has something for everyone to love. Manatee County is an hour or two away from some of the state's large metropolitan areas. The facility is looking for a Director of Residential Services who will be accountable for 24-hour a day leadership of the therapeutic milieu for all units and for the direct supervision and oversight of the Residential Supervisors, RN House Supervisors, Mental Health Techs and Staffing Coordinator. The Director of Residential Services will work in close collaboration with the CEO, COO, DON, and Nurse Supervisors to accomplish the mission of the organization. Through strong leadership, communication, and management skills, the Director of Residential Services has a vital role in providing all residents with a safe, structured and therapeutic environment. In addition, the Director of Residential Services is responsible for measuring and reporting program outcomes and developing and maintaining program policies and procedures. Current license from the State of Florida, LCSW or LMHC preferred. At least three to five years of hospital experience. Must have strong organizational skills. Physical Demands - Extensive walking, standing, sitting, must be able to lift over 25 lbs. pounds. Must be to participate in the physical restraint and seclusion of patients.
