Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary:The Senior Business Analyst will support the Electronic Patient Health Record (EPHR) system and associated medical technology platforms. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting system requirements, with a focus on healthcare information systems and compliance.Location:Maryland, United StatesResponsibilities:- Act as the lead analyst for the EPHR system and related health technology solutions.- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues.- Support reporting and data requirements.- Conduct detailed requirements gathering and documentation.- Develop comprehensive documentation (BRDs, Functional Specs, SRS, User Guides).- Create use cases, workflow diagrams, and mockups.- Lead As-Is and To-Be process analysis, gap assessments, and risk analysis.- Validate system integration points using web services.- Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to validate data integrity.- Collaborate with project managers and QA staff to define project scope and support UAT.- Deliver regular updates to stakeholders and support training efforts.- Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.Required Skills & Certifications:- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications.- Experience working with EPHR systems.- Understanding of health system integration and data exchange.- Knowledge of the Duvall Settlement Agreement and its reporting/compliance implications.- Exceptional documentation skills.- Proficiency in SQL.- Experience in SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).- Familiarity with web services architecture, protocols, and tools.- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- Experience in correctional healthcare, public health, or justice-related health systems.- Understanding of HIPAA, CJIS, or other healthcare data compliance standards.- Experience with test management and incident tracking systems.- Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).Special Considerations:- N/AScheduling:- N/A
