Linde Inc.Maintenance TechnicianLexington, KY, Youngstown, OH, United States | req28714What you will enjoy doing*You will plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections on compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and other rotating systemsYou shall support and maintain water treatment systems, gas‑fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and related process equipment to ensure safe and reliable operationsIn this role you will conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plant equipment while supporting the root cause analysis program for major failuresAdditionally, assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, and the identification and resolution of chronic mechanical asset concernsTake responsibility for maintaining accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance system and upholding the Oil and Vibrations Predictive ProgramFurthermore, perform both office and field work independently, escalating technical concerns and safely accessing elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man‑lifts, or crane basketsWhat Makes You GreatYou will bring a minimum of five years of experience maintaining mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial manufacturing environmentYou shall have proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangersIn addition you should demonstrate strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical and rotating systemsAbility to use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi‑train equipment while upholding high technical standardsAdditionally, communicate effectively, work independently, and lead or support teams with strong documentation and computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management systemsYou are recognized for hands‑on experience with vibration analysis and dynamic balancing, and familiarity with enterprise asset management systems; completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship is a plusYou are able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heightsYou will be available to work extended hours when business needs ariseFurthermore, you demonstrate the flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call‑in coverageYou ensure a reliable and safety‑focused presence during critical operational periodsWhy you will love working with usLinde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
