QA Test Engineer

Analyze system requirements to create detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins). Document, track, and manage software defects through their lifecycle using tools like Jira or Azure Boards. Verify system compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508 and WCAG requirements).What You'll Need Minimum of 5+ years of professional software quality assurance and testing experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and executing automated test scripts for enterprise-scale web applications. Proven experience testing single-page applications (SPAs) built with React or Angular and .NET or Java backends. Proficient with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright). Strong understanding of RESTful API testing, JSON, web services, and SQL queries for database validation. Active DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (or higher) or willingness to obtain (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
