Shipping & Receiving Specialist 12

Seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist for our Peter Glenn retail store. While the primary duties will be back room related, this position must also be able to provide customer service on the retail sales floor.Responsibilities:Maintain a receiving Log on all incoming shipmentsDocument any damages, refuse severely damaged or wet boxes and file UPS claims when necessaryCompare deliveries against packing slips and purchase ordersAssist with inventory management by following SOPs and investigate discrepanciesObtain Return Authorization from Vendor for returns when neededCreate Debit Memo's as requiredPrint Bar Code tickets for Merchandise and attach to productPackage & ship merchandise including store transfers as well as customer ordersScan all paperwork to Accounting in a timely mannerRetail experience requiredCandidates must be computer literateMust be able to read, write and communicate in EnglishExperience with shipping software preferredMust be detail-oriented and able to multi-taskMust have a customer-oriented attitudeAble to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day and lift up to 20-50lbsPossible other physical demands talking, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, carrying, climbing, and moreEducation:High School Diploma or GEDBenefits:
