Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of construction management, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple tasks, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards on-site. The Construction Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless workflow and resource allocation.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, OutBulld and other tools to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
Oversee quality control measures to meet industry standards and client expectations.
Manage safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety inspections.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Prepare reports on project status, including cost estimates, change orders, and progress updates as well as potential issues or roadblocks.
Supervise and mentor construction staff and subcontractors to foster a productive work environment.
Ensure proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites.
Proficiency with construction management software .
Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
Strong understanding of contracts, quality control procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
Demonstrated management skills with previous supervising experience on large-scale projects or pipelines.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification are preferred but required within six months of start date. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead impactful construction projects while utilizing cutting-edge industry tools in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
