Responsibilities Lead customer interactions by providing personalized product recommendations based on individual needs and preferences Supervise daily store operations, including merchandising, stocking, and maintaining product displays to ensure a clean and organized environment Conduct product demos and educate customers on the effects, benefits, and proper use of various cannabis products Manage cash handling duties using Dutchie/Metrc systems with accuracy and efficiency Oversee inventory levels, perform stock checks, and coordinate product replenishment to meet customer demand Uphold compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales and retail operations Assist with training new team members on customer service standards, POS procedures, and product knowledge Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining ethical standards Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely Maintain strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management Skills Proven supervisory experience in retail or grocery store environments with the ability to lead a team confidently Extensive knowledge of Cannabis POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving a diverse clientele Experience conducting product demos and educating customers about cannabis products in a clear, engaging manner Skilled in merchandising, stocking, and inventory management to ensure optimal product presentation Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and retail transactions Knowledge of phone etiquette best practices for professional remote communication Familiarity with upselling strategies that enhance customer satisfaction while increasing sales revenue Previous experience in retail sales within grocery stores or similar environments is highly advantageous Join us as a Lead Retail Cannabis Associate and become part of an innovative industry that’s shaping the future of wellness.
