Landscape Designer

Job Overview We are seeking a talented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Our goal at Native Gardeners is to cultivate a gardening philosophy. It's a way of landscaping that allows nature to flourish while giving the homeowner something they can be proud of and cherish for years to come. All this while utilizing the most appropriate native and adapted non-native plants for the client's yard. We specialize in the personal touch, with in-person consultations and thoughtful designs. Responsibilities - Design and plan landscapes for various projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions - Research native plants and design solutions based on site conditions - Create detailed landscape drawings using SketchUp and Lumion - Recommend plant selections, irrigation systems, and hardscape materials - Coordinate with contractors and project installation team Skills - Proficiency in SketchUp and Lumion, and ideally Polycam - Experience collecting measurements and interpreting topographical data - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for presentations - Experience in landscape design is prefered, but applicants with other design experience may be considered - Strong project scheduling and management skills - Knowledge of sales techniques for client interactions Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No nights Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Experience: Sketchup: 1 year (Preferred) Location: Euless, TX 76040 (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate: Euless, TX 76040: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
