One Stop Operator – Workforce Development (WIOA) Washington, DC (Onsite) Contract Role $65–$90/hr (W2) & 1099 About the Role We are seeking an experienced One Stop Operator to support workforce development initiatives in Washington, DC. This role requires a senior-level workforce professional with extensive knowledge of WIOA regulations and proven experience overseeing comprehensive and affiliate American Job Centers. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating core and required partner services, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational excellence across workforce systems. Key Responsibilities Serve as the designated One Stop Operator in accordance with WIOA requirements Oversee operations of comprehensive and affiliate American Job Centers Coordinate service delivery among core and required workforce partners Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local WIOA regulations Monitor performance metrics and regulatory adherence Support workforce system alignment and continuous improvement initiatives Provide oversight of program implementation and operational standards Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Development, Public Administration, or related field Minimum 10 years of experience in: Workforce development programs Government operations Program compliance Demonstrated prior experience serving as a One Stop Operator (required) Strong knowledge of WIOA regulations and workforce system governance Experience supporting state and local workforce areas Preferred Qualifications Experience working with government-funded workforce contracts Strong stakeholder coordination and partner engagement background Experience in DC workforce system preferred Why This Role?
