As we continue to innovate and grow, we're searching for a forward-thinking Software Engineer II, DevOps to help us build the future of capital markets infrastructure.As a Software Engineer II you will:Utilize your expertise in low-level programming as we advance the state of the art in high performance computing and electronic tradingProvide the necessary guidance and hands-on delivery of the design, development, and debugging of C applications that run on multi-core Linux systems to process large amounts of high-throughput, low-latency network dataBe a key contributor to our process and team culture, continually iterating on how we build products, not just on what we buildCollaborate directly with customers that are using the products that you developREQUIRED SKILLSMS/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field3+ years of relevant DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering experienceHands-on expertise with Kubernetes – cluster management, node provisioning, networking, and multi-environment operationsExperience with containerization technologies including Docker and Docker ComposeProficiency with Infrastructure as Code practices and toolingStrong scripting skills in Python and/or shell for automation and operational toolingExperience building or maintaining internal developer tooling or simulation/testing platformsExperience with Helm charts for packaging and deploying applications to KubernetesFamiliarity with observability stacks – particularly Grafana and Loki for metrics, logging, and alertingWorking knowledge of object storage systems such as S3 and relational or NoSQL databasesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLablDemonstrated ability to work through complex infrastructure challenges and drive them to resolutionComfortable being onsite in Needham, MA 5 days a weekDESIRED SKILLS:Experience with Node.js / Express and TypeScript in a DevOps or platform contextFamiliarity with financial markets or trading systems infrastructureExperience building or maintaining internal developer tooling or simulation/testing platformsKnowledge of network fundamentals relevant to Kubernetes (CNI, load balancers, ingress controllers, service meshes)Compensation: In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $151,800. Please note that this range represents the expected base salary for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
