For more information, please visit us at vallevistahospital.com Position Summary: The acute mental health counselor provides professional mental health care and case management of assigned patients under daily leadership of unit supervisor. Works closely with the psychiatrist, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning for the patient. Work Location: 898 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143, 317-943-9648 Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinical mental health field License: LSW or LMHCA required; LCSW or LMHC preferred Experience: Required 1 year experience in direct clinical care of patients/clients with mental health or chemical dependency diagnosis.
