IV Pharmacist Partners Pharmacy New JerseyGreat new career opportunity in long-term care pharmacy!Now hiring IV Pharmacist Partners Pharmacy New Jersey 50 Lawrence Road Springfield NJ 07081Hours: Monday - Friday 3 days per week 3pm-11:30pm, every other weekend; 2 major and 1 minor holidayThe pharmacist will be responsible for, but not limited to:Assist and direct support staff in the production and dispensing of medication orders to facilities and residentsPractice appropriate drug utilization review and follow upCoding (data entry) and checking ordersVerification of ordersAnswer calls and heavy customer service to facilitiesAccept and dispense prescription medicationsProvide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactionsCompound medications for external or internal useMonitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patternsSupervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical suppliesSecurity of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times and the reporting of any thefts and/or diversions of controlled substances to the supervisorNo misbranded, deteriorated, adulterated, improperly stored or outdated drugs or any drugs marked sample or with any like designation or meaning are dispensed or present in the active stock in the pharmacy.Accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed are maintainedEducation:Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmDProfessional experience:Must be a state registered pharmacist1+ years of pharmacist experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonalPartners Pharmacy - Our mission is to define excellence within the health care community.
