Quality Assurance Technician

QA TechnicianThe QA Technician is responsible for monitoring products and processes to ensure that Creekstone Farms production specifications are met. This includes accurate and timely communicated documentation and audits that adhere to Quality and Food Safety Standards for every product. Other responsibilities may include pre-operation inspection activities and working closely with USDA, FSIS, USDA AMS and all departments within the plant. This individual will work closely with various departments by using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.Essential Functions:Monitoring, documenting, and communicating plant Quality/HACCP/SSOP/SOG/GMP programs to ensure proper implementationCoordinating with plant personnel, USDA, and contracted sanitation personnel to comply with quality programsWorking daily in cold environments (~45 degrees) and warm environments (~85 degrees)Maintain constructive relationships with various levels of personnel in various departments.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Adhere to and enforce all safety policies and proceduresKnowledge of Quality Assurance Technologies and/or Knowledge of the meat industry1-3 years' experience in the meat industryConflict resolution abilities and strong customer relationsExperience working with a diverse group of peopleAbility to maintain high expectations for self and others, demonstrating a dedication to achievement of resultsDemonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organizationSolid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skillsDetail oriented, organized, reliable, and resourcefulAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environmentCreekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
