Senior Structural Engineer

LHH is partnering with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to identify a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Florida team.This role will serve as a technical and project leader, overseeing structural design efforts and coordinating with internal disciplines across a variety of commercial building projects. The individual will manage projects from concept through construction while supervising staff, mentoring developing engineers, and supporting successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering and design efforts for building projectsManage projects of varying sizes and complexities from concept through constructionSupervise and mentor engineering staff in technical development and career growthCoordinate with architects, engineers, and other internal disciplines to deliver cohesive, constructible designsInterface with clients, contractors, and project stakeholdersManage project scope, schedules, and deliverablesProvide technical leadership and support quality project outcomesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related fieldActive Professional Engineer (P.E.) license10+ years of experience in an architectural or engineering environmentDemonstrated success managing structural projects and leading teamsStrong technical expertise in structural engineering for building projectsAbility to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary project teamsSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; hybrid schedule with flexible work hoursLocation: Florida, Relocation assistance is available.Salary Range: $150,000–$180,000 annually plus bonusBenefits: Competitive medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and bonus packageLHH and its clients are equal opportunity employers.
