WEEKENDS + HOLIDAYSSeason: May 27th – September 24thPOSITION SUMMARY:The Pool Attendant is responsible for monitoring the pool area to ensure a safe environment for all residents and guests. This role enforces pool rules, observes swimmer activity, and responds to emergencies as needed. Responsibilities include providing first aid, assisting swimmers in distress, and administering CPR when necessary.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include, but are not limited to the following:Monitor pool activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents and guestsEnsure all residents and guests sign in and follow community guidelinesEnforce pool rules and community policies consistently and professionallyMaintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the pool deck, restrooms, and surrounding areasSet up, organize, and secure pool furniture and equipment dailyComplete routine checks of pool areas, including skimmers, grills, and general upkeepReport any safety concerns, incidents, or maintenance issues to management promptlyFollow all opening and closing procedures, including securing the pool areaAbsolutely NO ALCOHOL or GLASS containers at the pool EVERREQUIRMENTS:Must meet minimum age requirements for certification and job duties (18+)CPR Certification-American Red Cross-in person course (Required) Employer will reimburse for certificationAvailability for weekends and holidaysShould possess leadership skills and have good judgement in making decisionsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and on occasion assist or lift persons in distress of varying weights.
