Job SummaryPerform the necessary duties to ensure the sale of products.Essential FunctionsMaintain Sales Satisfaction Index standardsReport objectives and planned activities to managementGive feature presentations and demo drives of new or used vehiclesWork with management to close dealsReview operating features, warranty and paperwork during the vehicle deliveryEncourage repeat business and referrals with an owner follow-up systemKeep abreast of new technology, new features and new productsRemain familiar with competitive products and featuresCommunicate with Service and Parts regarding customer add-ons or repairsKnow and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto salesPre-Hire RequirementsValid TX DL and acceptable driving record, acceptable background review and negative drug screenEducation and Experience RequiredHigh school diploma or the equivalentBasic math, reading and writing skillsMust be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written or oral diagrammatic formMust be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situationsStrong mental aptitudeStrong verbal communication skillsStrong personal initiativeAbility to operate a standard transmission vehicleAbility to use a computer and 10 key calculatorPhysical Requirements:Frequent standing, bending/stooping/squatting, climbing stairs/ladders, pushing/pulling, grasping/gripping, writing/typing, finger dexterity, driving/operating equipment, hearing, speaking and vision (beyond arms length), able to lift/carry 1-75lbs.Occasionally working in confined spaces, able to lift/carry 75-150+ lbs, lying down, and reaching above shoulders.Working ConditionsThe employee will work indoors and outdoors in a professional sales environment.Will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
