Release Train Engineer (RTE)Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)Employment Type: W2 Only (No C2C/Subcontractors)Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Train (ART) execution and drive scaled Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAFe methodologies, Agile planning, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement within enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including Big Room Planning (BRP), Inspect & Adapt (I&A), Monthly Planning, and other Agile planning events.Coordinate post-BRP activities and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.Drive Agile execution by facilitating ART ceremonies and ensuring teams deliver on committed objectives.Champion Continuous Delivery, DevOps best practices, AI tool adoption, DORA metrics, and engineering excellence.Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers, and impediments.Oversee feature backlog management and optimize workflow across Agile teams.Drive continuous process improvements through metrics, automation, and delivery best practices.Serve as the primary point of contact for workstream implementation and execution.Coach Agile teams on Agile Transformation, SDLC, Time Tracking, ECM, TCM, Annual Planning, and organizational processes.Guide teams on Agile roles, governance, and standards aligned with POM, Agile Playbook, EFT, ERFT, and RDL frameworks.Build and maintain dashboards to measure delivery success using metrics such as Objective Predictability, CI/CO achievement, roadmap execution, and overall ART performance.Required QualificationsProven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in a large-scale SAFe Agile environment.Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coordinating cross-functional teams.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Hands-on experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, Continuous Improvement, and delivery metrics.Experience tracking and reporting Agile performance using KPIs and dashboards.Financial services or banking domain experience is highly preferred.SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification is a plus.
