Lead Java Developer

Lead Developer provides technical direction and oversight to senior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural best practices, and high-quality delivery.The role requires a balance of software engineering expertise, cloud infrastructure knowledge, and development leadership, with a strong emphasis on system stability, scalability, and maintainability.Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:Technical Skills:Strong expertise in Java / J2EE and backend application developmentPHP experience required, including support and enhancement of production applicationsExperience with REST APIs, JSON, and service-based architecturesExperience with SQL Server and MySQL, including performance tuning and data modelingExperience supporting Azure-hosted applications in production environmentsHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AnsibleExperience with NGINX and web server configurationExperience working in Agile / Scrum environmentsProficiency with IRA for Agile tracking and sprint managementProficiency using Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deploymentsExperience working with SonarQube or similar code quality toolsCommunication & LeadershipStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to document application design, workflows, and system architectureExperience providing technical leadership and oversight to senior developersAbility to balance hands-on development responsibilities with leadership expectationsPreferred QualificationsKotlin experience preferred particularly within Java-based ecosystemsExperience supporting high-availability, enterprise-scale systemsExperience with application monitoring and reliability toolsFamiliarity with performance tuning, caching strategies, and backend optimization
