Job Description:Job Description:Material Handler Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:May be required to load/unload US mail from/into airline containersMay be required to load/unload trucksMay be required to push/pull USPS rolling stock equipment with and without (empty) US MailMay be required to push full/empty airline containers on ball deckingMay be required to load/unload full or empty airline equipment from the Company transport dolliesMay be required to scan mail into/out of airline containers.May be required to weigh airline containers utilizing the Company's ball decking and scalesMay be required to validate the serviceability of airline containers based on airline requirementsMay be required to operate GSE equipment, including but not limited to trucks and tugsMay be assigned administrative duties by the supervisor, which include equipment checks/reportsMinimum RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age.Possess a High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent is a plusMust pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.Must be able to pass certain requirements mandated by the United States Post Office , including but not limited too Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for)o Have a verifiable 5-year United States (or any of its territories) residenceo No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old. Some charges may disqualify you altogether, regardless of lengthPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 70 poundsMust be able to stand, lift, bend, push, pull, and sit for extended periodsMust be willing to work in a warehouse environmentAdditional Requirements:Job Type: Part-timeMust be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends or irregular shiftsBenefits after the probationary period.Alliance Ground International is an equal opportunity employer.
