UGC Video Editor – remote freelance

Job DescriptionOur client, a growing name in the CPG space is seeking a UGC Video Editor to support our Growth Creative Team on a 2-month contract (40 hours a week). This is a remote opportunity; CA based candidates preferred.In this role, you’ll focus on crafting high-performing digital ads for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok, using motion graphics and video editing to bring direct response concepts to life at scale. The ideal candidate has experience producing a high volume of performance-driven ads, strong motion design instincts, and a sharp eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual hierarchy. After Effects expertise is essential for this role.Problems You’ll Solve: ? Create and edit short-form, direct response video ads for Meta and TikTok using motion graphics (UGC overlays, listicles, hooks, offers, etc.) ? Design and animate graphics that enhance storytelling and drive conversions ? Collaborate with creative strategists and producers to develop and iterate on multiple ad concepts ? Ensure all video exports meet brand and performance standards ? Turn around projects quickly while maintaining high quality ? Take initiative to ideate and pitch new variations or motion-driven improvements on existing creatives ? Apply performance learnings to refine motion, pacing, and structure ? Research and pull inspiration from high-performing direct response ads and motion trends ? Manage projects from concept through final delivery with speed and accuracyWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of video editing experience (FB, IG, TikTok), preferably at an ad agency or brand Fluid knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects Strong understanding of direct response advertising Portfolio with UGC, direct response style graphics including native FB and IG ads
