Project / Program ManagerGavinHeath is partnering with a client in Denver, CO looking to add a Project / Program Manager to their team. The role is a CONTRACT position.Responsibilities :Support PeopleSoft Program managerInterface with high level client management, as well as vendorsFacilitate project activities, as neededFacilitate resource management for projectsCoordinate and communicate with agency stakeholdersUnderstand political relationship of key decision makersFacilitate management of issues and risks from the projects to the programEnsure that deliverables are developed per defined requirements and timeframeStay abreast of significant change initiativesHighlight and identify needed program changesWork with personnel on project/program findings and recommendations.Assist with preparation and support for the PeopleSoft Governance CouncilPrepare presentationsPrepare 3 to 5 year plansPrepare and report priorities of projects within the programPerforms administrative activities such as collecting, maintaining, monitoring and reporting on:Weekly status of the ProgramProgram spending and program metricsProgram requirements, documentation, issues, funding and risks.Meeting logistics, notices, written communication and meeting minutes.Program objectives via metrics and reports for distribution.Program plans and schedules for distribution to program team members.Tasks and action items pertinent to the success of the individual projects.Program and project changes as needed.Communications to internal clients, team members and leadership.Schedule information to clients, customers support organizations and vendors.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related fieldBasic project management and administration processes and principles.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or the equivalent.Budget management experienceKnowledge of ERP systems and upgrades, specifically PeopleSoft.GavinHeath is an equal opportunity employer.
