Systems Developer

SummaryWe are looking for an experienced IT Systems Developer to enhance and support key business applications and identify opportunities to improve processes and system performance. This role will involve hands-on development, troubleshooting, and collaboration across multiple technical and business teams. Success in this position requires strong technical ability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Requirements+5 years of software development experience.Strong ownership mindset and follow-through.Experience supporting complex systems and working with relational databases (SQL Server).Experience working with Java/Spring, or a similar object-oriented language. Solid understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and application/server log analysis.Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Solid problem-solving abilities and a willingness to challenge assumptions.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transparent environment.Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.PreferredExperience with OutSystems.Insurance industry-specific knowledge.This is a 6-month 100% onsite contract opportunity with our MN client.
