Marina Rental Sports Attendant Limited housing opportunity for FULL-TIME employees $200 Equipment Reimbursement End-of-Season Bonus This hourly position prepares boats for rental operations and conducts daily boat and rental area inspections. They perform a variety of manual labor tasks, launch boats, and interact with guests in all aspects of the marina rental operations. Works on paddle and/or power dock giving safety speeches. Ensures a safe operation for all. Desired start date: 5/18/2026 & estimated end-of-season date: 9/7/2026 9- 10 hour shifts. 8:00am to 6:00pm. Holidays, weekends, early morning and late afternoon. Reports to:Operations Manager, Marina Supervisors and Rental Sports Leads. Frequent internal contacts: - Marina Supervisors & Managers - Public Works - Marina Staff Frequent external contacts: - Marina Park Guests - Marina Vendors - Marina Slip holders Job Location: - Onsite Prepares boats for rental operations and conducts daily boat and rental area inspections per marina protocols. Provide the highest level of guest service while orienting rental boat guests with proper operation of rental boats. Keeps accurate records on Power Boat Prop and Skeg forms, oil logs and hourly boat logs. Makes sure all opening and closing procedures are followed and rental operations are ready each day. Maintain and clean work areas and all Marina property, including dock boxes, docks, common employee areas, as well as assist with trash and recycling removal. Re-fueling of rental boats and guest boats following marina protocols. Communicates rules and regulations of proper rental boat operation on the waters of Dillon reservoir. Communicates repairs or maintenance of rental boats or docks to supervisors in a timely fashion. Assists Service Technicians in rental boat servicing, launching, repairs, and emergencies per marina protocols. Follows and enforces safety practices, operating rules, and regulations at all times. Cleans and keeps daily records on cleaning of counters, floors, buildings, grounds, and rental boats. Works in a team-based environment supporting the Frisco Bay Marina, Recreation Department, and the Town of Frisco. Restocks rental boat supplies and notifies supervisor when items need to be ordered. Responsible for operating boats, mooring shuttles, guiding tours, and provides updates to Guest Service staff on an hourly basis. Communicates in a professional manner with employees, supervisors, citizens, visitors, tenants, and Town of Frisco staff at all times. Adheres to all Town of Frisco, Recreation Department and Frisco Bay Marina employee policies and procedures and protocols; including but not limited to safety protocols, grooming standards, daily operations, uniform policy, and professionalism. Assists in other aspects of the Marina and Recreation and Cultural Department operations as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: - High school diploma or GED is required Computer Operations: - Time keeping software.Microsoft Word and Excel Licenses, Certifications or Accreditations: - Valid U.S. Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is required.CPR, AED & First Aid Certification (Provided by the Town) Previous Work Experience: - At least one (1) year of guest service experience is required.One (1) year of working knowledge of safe boating operation, boating experience, and/or marina experience is preferred. Language Ability: - Required: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Decision Making Ability: - Required: Ability to function independently and make sound and reasonable decisions in the absence of supervisory guidance. Other: - Ability to swim is required.Strong guest service skills required.Ability to multi-taskExcellent oral and written communication skills.
