Portico has an amazing opportunity to join our team as a Transition Support Coordinator! The Transition Support Coordinator supports the successful onboarding and offboarding of multifamily communities, including lease-ups, acquisitions, and dispositions. This remote role (located in one of our TX, AZ, TN operating markets) coordinates utility and vendor account setup, assists with due diligence processes, manages transition documentation, and partners with Operations and clients to ensure seamless property transitions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport transition activities for new developments, acquisitions, and property dispositionsMaintain transition checklists, tracking tools, and transition-related inbox communicationsCoordinate utility account setup and closure for new and transitioning communitiesEstablish national vendor accounts for lease-ups and acquisition propertiesAssist Operations teams and clients with utility management and billing processesSupport due diligence efforts by organizing documentation and coordinating materialsRespond to transition-related inquiries and route tasks appropriatelyMaintain organized records and ensure accurate documentation of transition processesBuild and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partnersAssist with research, reporting, and special projects as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1–2 years of professional experience in property management, real estate, or office administration preferredPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience in multifamily property management, lease-up, acquisitions, or dispositionsFamiliarity with property management systems (OneSite, Yardi, or similar PMS platforms)Strong understanding of utility account setup and vendor coordination processesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teamsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computerAbility to lift up to 30 pounds as neededRepetitive hand and wrist movements, including typingAdequate hearing and vision to perform job dutiesWork EnvironmentRemote role (located in one of our TX, AZ, TN operating markets)Occasional overtime may be required during active transitionsTravel may be required for meetings or trainingOur Company is an equal Opportunity Employer.
