DescriptionJOB TITLE: Shipping AssociateJob SummaryThis Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring proper receipt and placement/storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop.Position Qualifications/RequirementsAt least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power toolsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Forklift CertifiedPreferred SkillsPositive team player attitude with an interest in continuous improvementAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionDependable, reliable, and punctualAble to work evenings and some holidays, and overtime when neededCORE DUTIESRead and record serial numbers from firearmsMemorize all models and specificationsPack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipmentsLoad and unload trucksProvide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workdayProvide back-up for all shipping/receiving functionUndergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP)Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving areaOperate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack)HOURS1st shift positionMonday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Friday - overtime as neededSpecial RequirementsCandidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.?
