Join us in shaping the future of naval warfare and together, we will safeguard the seas and empower navies worldwide!Ultra is building a second shift to continue to meet the demands of our global customers, join us as we continue to grow to keep the world safe!Production Hours are Monday to Thursday 5pm to 3:30am tentativelyJob DescriptionDuties Responsible: Perform a wide variety of general maintenance functions including facilities maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and metal fabrication to complete assigned job tasks. Perform maintenance job tasks with a high degree of attention to safety and maintenance best practices.installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Required Skills And AbilitiesThe Ideal candidate must possess the followingAssociates Degree in Technology, Technical Certificate, or Maintenance/Technical Experience in Military with a minimum of 4 years of related practical experience OR minimum of 7+ years of related practical experience with no formal training or degree3+ years of experience in machine troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenanceMust hold a valid driver’s license with clean driving record for occasional driving of company vehicleAbility to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
