ResponsibilitiesProvides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population. QualificationsEducation and Work Experience Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement). One year healthcare experience desirable.
