OverviewPiedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.Responsibilities: Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the obstetrical operations performed in the Operating Room located in the Labor and Delivery unit. He/she has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. Performs patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse. Qualifications: EducationH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program Required or1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist Required or3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting Required Licenses and CertificationsBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Preferred Business Unit : Company Name:Piedmont Rockdale Hospital
