Tableau Bi AdministratorRole: Administration of an Enterprise Tableau server environment. The responsibilities and desired skills/experiences are outlined below.Skills: Must be proficient in Tableau Administration including:License tracking and management (all license types) and administering server based (LBLM) license management.Collaborating with development teams to define and implement appropriate development and production promotion (publishing) processes reflecting strong change management practices.Working with Analytics leadership to define guidelines/policies for use of Tableau and defining/implementing corresponding processes/controls.Collaborate with Infrastructure personnel (sys admins, dba's, etc.) on maintenance of the Tableau server environment and other infrastructure utilized by Tableau.Respond to production incidents and user requests (i.e., Help Desk related functions) related to Tableau operations per organizational SLA's.Promote/Publish Tableau applications to production as requested by developers. Monitor and manage automated promotion process.Administer user accesses to Tableau applications (workbooks) and capabilities as requested and approved.Document/Resolve requests using ServiceNow.Enable Tableau Data Management and Server Management add-on features.Plan/Manage periodic platform upgrades including project planning, resource coordination with other teams, user communications, and coordination with Desktop Management team to package and push desktop software.Assist the BI Operations Team with similar functions for Qlik and SAP BusinessObjects environments.Timing: 40 hrs/week starting ASAP for 3 months with possibility of extension.Other: As the role requires collaboration with users/team members, standard work hours are between 7am-5pm, M-F Pacific Time and may require work outside of these normal business hours to deal with production incidents, scheduled upgrades, etc. The role also requires easy access via phone, online collaboration tools (i.e., Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams) and participation in daily team huddles. The organization is currently practicing remote work subject to the terms of a Remote Worker Agreement. Travel is not anticipated to be required by this resource during this timeframe but may be required subject to the needs of the position and changes to Remote Work policies.
