Arizona Licensed Senior HIMS Technician

A company is looking for a Senior HIMS Technician. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations and monitor workflow within the health information management systems department Conduct releases of health information in compliance with policies and regulations, acting as a liaison for HIMS staff Support the integrity of the Electronic Medical Record through auditing activities and assist with departmental statistics and reporting Required Qualifications One or more years of post-high school education or experience in medical records and information systems Three or more years of related work experience in a healthcare role with knowledge of health information management practices Strong technical skills in office and medical records software applications Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize work effectively Knowledge of medical terminology and HIMS department functions is preferred
