With the passion and energy of an accomplished team of seasoned experts, our focus is to revolutionize the standard of care in the neuromodulation space by transforming the lives of patients suffering from debilitating pain.The Role:The Senior Paralegal is primarily responsible for providing general commercial, legal-regulatory, corporate, and administrative assistance and support to the Saluda Legal Department. The candidate should have strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills and significant experience with complex commercial contracting matters. The position requires working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results; communicating with key internal and external contacts; and determining critical methods and procedures on new assignments. This position has access to and regularly works with sensitive, confidential information and directly impacts all areas of our business.Responsibilities:Coordinate and collaborate with the Saluda Senior Leaders, the Saluda Legal team, and the cross-functional stakeholders in connection with corporate governance, legal and IP matters, contracts, and compliance matters, with an emphasis on:Assisting the Saluda Legal team in supporting public company and corporate governance matters;Assisting the General Counsel in support of the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team;Assisting the Saluda Legal team and cross-functional teams in the intake, drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and monitoring of contracts;Assisting the Saluda Legal team with employment and litigation matters;Assisting in the management of equity plan administration programs;Maintaining corporate virtual data rooms;Assisting the Compliance Officer with healthcare compliance matters and training initiatives;Assisting with advertising and promotional reviews;Assisting the Saluda Legal team in the development and improvement of efficient policies and procedures; and,Assisting in the development and implementation of a global privacy and compliance program. Act as an internal point of contact for the Saluda Legal team;Perform and assist with special projects at the direction of the Saluda Legal team;Provide general legal support for the Saluda Legal team;Conduct legal research, analysis and the development of legal advice on a wide range of business and legal issues;Manage filing and records maintenance related to the legal and compliance functions; andConduct other legal tasks as needed from time to time.
