We’re primarily hiring in our SF and NY offices, but do hire remotely in some casesWhat you’ll do:Reconcile financial and transactional data from multiple sources to enable accurate, repeatable sales tax filingsNormalize customer data across platforms (e.g. Stripe, Shopify, Numeral API) to ensure integrity in tax workflowsPartner with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Solutions teams to troubleshoot and resolve onboarding data issuesSupport our customer-facing teams with ad hoc data questions, investigations, and insightsBuild internal tooling and processes to streamline reconciliation and improve onboarding throughputImprove the fidelity and performance of our DBT pipelines and help evolve our broader data architectureWhat you’ll bring:Proficient in SQL and Excel / Google SheetsStrong analytical and pattern recognition skills across large, messy, or multi-source datasetsExperience reconciling financial or transactional data (ideally in an e-commerce or payments environment)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate with autonomy in fast-moving environmentsClear communicator with high attention to detail and a collaborative mindsetStartup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growthIntensity & Ownership: This is not a 9-5 — we’re scaling rapidly and have a massive opportunity ahead of us.
