The Community Day Services Program provides a variety of programs to enhance each individual’s adaptive living skills, economic self-sufficiency, overall level of independence and integration into the community.
We are currently seeking DSP's to join the Community Day Services Program.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm (paid lunch break)!! No weekends or evenings.
Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible for implementing methods of instruction consistent with current skills and performance curriculums
Adapts work stations to meet the needs of the consumers: maintains a clean and safe work environment
Prepares required documentation
Provides crisis counseling and emergency interventions to consumers as needed.
Responsible for transporting clients in a clinic van
Monitors and records operating conditions of vehicle daily and reports mechanical problems to the Supervisor immediately
While transporting clients, complies to route, safety and other transportation procedures
Tracks and records client transportation and other information as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
CPR and First Aide Certification preferred not required
Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $18.50
