ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Operates and maintains equipment in a safe manner, adhering to state and federallaws and regulations.2. Treats customers with patience and respect using Geiger Ready-Mix CustomerService Guidelines. Balances customer needs with safety and companyguidelines.3. Visually checks load for correct slump prior to every delivery. Consistentlyensures that extra products and water are loaded on truck prior to delivery.4. Strictly follows driver's route and schedule as dictated by dispatch. Stays incontact with dispatch, plant manager, and plant operator.5. Completes required paperwork correctly and on time, including any events thathappened with products and/or services.6. Keeps equipment looking "Geiger Ready". Takes time to efficiently clean theinside and outside of truck and perform truck inspection daily – required byDepartment of Transportation (DOT) Guidelines.7. Wears provided uniform at all times and maintains professional appearance.8. Demonstrates flexibility and teamwork with scheduling and work assignments,including repairs and cleanup work around the plant.9. Drives a standard transmission vehicle with the ability to reverse truck todischarge point over paved/unpaved terrain.5. Maintains a respectful and professional attitude with customers and otheremployees in stressful situations.6.
