RealMan Robotics is scaling the North American operations. We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our collaborative robot (cobot) products for customers across North America. This role works closely with our sales and engineering teams to provide technical support before and after deployment, ensuring reliable system performance and strong customer satisfaction.
The position involves hands-on work with robotic systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and on-site customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for robotic arm systems used by customers in North America
Support pre-sales demonstrations and technical discussions with the sales team
Perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of robotic systems at customer sites
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Replace components and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation
Train customers on robot operation, programming, and best practices
Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and provide field feedback
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience in robotics, automation, field service, or technical support
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with robotics or industrial equipment
Basic programming experience with APIs (C/C++ or Python)
Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus
Ability to perform basic electrical testing and system diagnostics
Comfortable working in English-speaking customer environments,
Willing to travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as needed, and to travel to China for product and technical training
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English-Mandarin
Experience with collaborative robots (cobots)
Experience in robot integration or industrial automation projects
Background in Electrical Engineering (EE)
Familiarity with robot programming or teaching software
