Right Price.Title: RWD Data Analyst - HEOR Analytics Duration: 12 months contract Location: RemotePosition Summary " Real world evidence (RWE) has become a vital complement to the traditional clinical trial in the demonstration of the value and safety of new medicines " Core Analytics group within the Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) organization supports the use of RWE across discovery, development, and lifecycle of medicines " Members are embedded alongside Clinical, Medical Affairs Research (MAR), and Global Value & Access (GV&A) teams to develop and execute RWE strategies " Access to real-world databases and act as stewards of best practices, standards, and methodologies underlying the use of real-world data (RWD)Responsibilities " Conduct analyses and develop specifications for descriptive and complex statistics in studies using RWD for HEOR research questions " Conduct analyses to inform parameters for economic models " In collaboration with HEOR leads select appropriate internal database(s) to address research questions " Develop and QC TFLs for protocols/reports/manuscripts from RWE research conducted to assess the value of therapies using RWD (e.g. claims and EHR) " QC programming for descriptive and complex studies in RWD " Work with epidemiologists and HEOR scientists to generate study measures in RWD " Assist in developing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) for descriptive and complex studies using RWD, including claims and EHRQualificationsEducation: " Master's Degree in public health, epidemiology, health economics or related discipline " PharmD or PhDExperience: " 7+ years of strong statistical programming (such as SAS) and analytical experience with Master's Degree " 5+ years of strong statistical programming (such as SAS) and analytical experience with PharmD or PhD " Knowledge of real-world data and experience in observational research study design, execution, and communication " Experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical/biotech industry work or research " Strong track record of analysis of RWDSkills: " Formal training in programming and demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis programs commonly used in life sciences (e.g. SAS, R, SQL) " Excellent analytic and communication skills " Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, diverse, and matrix environmentWhy Work With Us?
