Our Automated Sensor Operator (ASO) software powers our line of Smart Sensors and integrates with airborne video gimbal platforms to deliver Superhuman Vision and Workload Reduction for real-time imagery intelligence systems.Founded in 2016 in Hood River, Oregon, Overwatch supports commercial and government customers worldwide across missions including wildfire mapping, disaster response, law enforcement, border security, maritime domain awareness, and tactical intelligence.About This RoleOverwatch Imaging is seeking a Director of Strategic Growth to work closely with the CEO and leadership team to accelerate company growth through strategic partnerships, market expansion, and corporate growth initiatives.This role will identify and develop new opportunities for Overwatch Imaging’s sensor autonomy technology across emerging markets, international channels, and next-generation sensing applications.What You’ll DoStrategic PartnershipsDevelop go-to-market partnerships with sensor OEMs, aircraft integrators, software providers, and complementary technology companiesIdentify and pursue strategic business opportunities aligned with company growth objectivesConduct market research and develop entry strategies for new operational domains and sensing modalitiesCollaborate with engineering, product, sales, and leadership teams to execute growth initiativesRepresent Overwatch Imaging at industry events, customer engagements, and partner meetingsInternational ExpansionBuild relationships with international distribution partners and global customersSupport international sales growth through channel development and strategic partnershipsEvaluate opportunities for overseas training, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) centersAnalyze international market opportunities, competition, and regulatory considerationsCorporate Growth InitiativesSupport CEO communications with investors and board stakeholdersPrepare materials and analysis for fundraising and investor updatesEvaluate strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnership opportunitiesSupport long-term corporate strategy and growth planningWhat You’ll BringExperience & EducationBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, aerospace, or related field; MBA preferred7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate strategy, aerospace, defense technology, or related industriesProven success driving strategic partnerships and business growthExperience working with international customers or channel partnersFamiliarity with defense, autonomy, AI, or dual-use technology markets preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of autonomy systems, airborne sensors, AI-enabled platforms, or related technologiesExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skillsStrong analytical and strategic thinking capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced startup environmentWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as neededCharacter AttributesThrives in a dynamic, venture-backed startup environmentCollaborative, self-motivated, and mission-drivenComfortable taking initiative and responsible risksTakes pride in rapidly delivering impactful technology solutionsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary plus equity/stock options100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage for employees and families401(k) with employer matchGenerous PTO and company holidaysFlexible, collaborative startup culture with significant growth opportunityOpportunity to work on mission-critical technology with real-world impactAll applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the United States.
