OverviewRegistered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Pontiac, MI, United States. Travel - temporary assignment, PRN. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This position works in an acute care setting with ICU/step-down responsibilities and requires coordination of care for critically ill patients across age groups.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,675–$1,692 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0.0- Contract duration: Weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour nights- Start date: 06/08/2026- Work setting: Critical care unit with ICU/step-down patients- Rapid interview process and same- or next-business-day decisions when eligible- Documentation and credentialing required soon after submission (resume and supporting documents)Responsibilities- Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/SDU, spanning adolescent to geriatric ages- Monitor and manage a wide range of diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical conditions- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage hemodynamic instability, and support respiratory care as needed- Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds and update treatment plans- Supervise and coordinate activities of CNA/SNA, LPN, and other assisting healthcare workers as assigned- Maintain professional nursing standards and document care accurately in the patient recordRequirements- Active RN license in Michigan with LARA verification (required)- 2+ years ICU experience (required)- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (current copies required)- TNCC or TCAR (preferred)- Resume reflecting ICU experience; Skills checklist current to within 1 year (required)- Michigan license verification and physical copies of certifications (required)- Travel experience (preferred)- Must be able to work in ICU/SDU settings and supervise other staff as assigned- Completion of a Per Diem Application Questionnaire (required)Benefits and Support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Credentialing and documentation assistance (licensure verification, certifications)- Travel coordination and onboarding support- Regular updates on scheduling and assignment statusFind more opportunitiesIf you would like to view other open ICU travel nursing roles, apply for additional openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
