THE ROLEWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to run a robotic manufacturing cell in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating the equipment safely, performing changeovers through the HMI, verifying part quality using measurement tools, and ensuring consistent production flow. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable reading product dimension drawings, completing basic inspections, and operating a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods.Essential Job Functions Operate and monitor a robotic forming cell according to established procedures. Perform machine changeovers, load programs, and adjust basic parameters through the HMI. Inspect and measure parts using calipers, tape measures, gauges, or other precision tools. Read and interpret product dimension drawings to confirm part specifications. Load and unload materials and components safely using a forklift. Perform routine checks on tooling, sensors, and basic cell components to ensure readiness. Identify issues related to part fit-up, fixture loading, or machine function and communicate promptly. Maintain proper documentation of production counts, quality checks, and downtime events. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and guarding requirements. Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards. Support minor adjustments during operation to maintain quality and cycle-time consistency. Work collaboratively with maintenance or engineering teams when troubleshooting is required.QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, machine operator, or CNC/robotic environment. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and dimensional callouts. Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges. Forklift experience required; certification preferred or provided upon hire. Familiarity with HMIs, machine controls, or automated equipment is a plus.Other Skills And Abilities Strong attention to detail and quality awareness. Ability to follow standardized work and documented procedures. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around automated machinery. Ability to recognize out-of-tolerance conditions and escalate appropriately. Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills and teamwork mindset. Willingness to work overtime or different shifts if needed to support production demands.
