Be a Proactive Force for Prevention: Go beyond treatment by conducting ergonomic assessments at local worksites, developing impactful workplace safety programs, and actively participating in wellness initiatives. You'll be on the front lines of preventing injuries before they happen. Champion Successful Return-to-Work Journeys: Collaborate closely with employers and case managers to create and implement effective return-to-work plans. Your functional capacity evaluations and job site analyses will directly contribute to helping individuals safely and confidently return to their work. Contribute to a Supportive and Growth-Oriented Environment: While maintaining accurate patient records and participating in team meetings are part of the role, you'll also be contributing to a positive and collaborative atmosphere where your professional growth is valued and supported.What You'll Bring to the Team: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program. A current Physical Therapy License in Maine. Some experience in an occupational health setting preferred but not required (we value diverse experience, so tell us about yours!). Exceptional clinical and communication skills that allow you to connect effectively with patients, employers, and fellow healthcare professionals. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Comfort and proficiency with paper charts but some electronic medical records familiarity also helpful. The ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative team player.
