Job Title: Senior Associate Architect – Owner’s RepresentativeLocation: Orlando, FLOverviewAn established and highly respected consultancy is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Owner’s Representative team in Orlando. This role is suited to a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, extensive experience across commercial projects, and forensic experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Owner’s Representative across a range of commercial projects, ensuring design intent, quality, and technical standards are upheldProvide expert technical oversight throughout all phases of design and constructionConduct forensic investigations into building envelope, structural, and construction-related issuesPrepare detailed reports outlining findings, root causes, and recommended remedial actionsCollaborate with developers, consultants, contractors, and legal teams where requiredReview construction documents, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and complianceMonitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve technical challengesSupport dispute resolution processes, including expert witness testimony where applicableRequirements15+ years of professional architectural experienceLicensed Architect (RA) requiredStrong technical expertise across building systems, construction methods, and detailingDemonstrated forensic experience, including investigations, reporting, and remediation strategiesExtensive commercial project experienceProven ability to operate in an advisory/owner-facing capacityExcellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in technical reportingExperience working with legal teams or in dispute resolution is highly desirable
